The finale shot of the episode is Finn wistfully watching on Prismo’s interdimensional TV as Ice Finn is reunited with his family. Concurrently, Finn and Jake to use “The Maid”, which removes the Lichy essence from Farmworld Jake.įinn and Jake are brought back to Prismo’s pad, and, on the behest of Finn, Prismo manages to destroy the Farmworld Ice Crown, righting everything that went wrong in “Finn the Human”. By this point, Ice Finn-even in his extended state of delirium-realizes that he has been used. This severed limb then falls into the multiverse portal and is, presumably, transported into every dimension. At the same time, the Jake-Lich also attempts to murder the real Jake, causing Finn’s grass-arm to activate, which amputates the Jake-Lich’s right arm. After having secured all of the gems needed,Īnd Ice Finn unlock the door to the multiverse. Finn, unfortunately, is frozen by Ice Finn in the process.Įventually, it is revealed that Ice Finn was merely being used as a puppet by the Farmworld version of the Lich, or, as I like to call him, the Jake-Lich. Finn and Jake try to use a device (”The Maid”) to wipe Ice Finn out of existence, but, because it would involve killing an alternate universe version of Finn, the duo decide to instead try and steal the Farmworld version of the Enchiridion (which, as seen in the fourth season finale “The Lich”, enables one to open a door to the multiverse). And for some ominous reason, Prismo cannot use his wish magic to stop this catastrophe.įinn and Jake journey to this world and learn that Ice Finn has frozen all the humans in his dimension in order to “save” them.

He tells the two that the Ice Finn, who succumbed to the power of that universe’s Ice Crown, is trying to open a portal to the multiverse in an attempt to extinguish all life.

Prismo asks Finn and Jake for help, revealing that the “Farmworld” universe that had been created when Finn wished that the Lich had never existed in “Finn the Human” was still out there. In this episode, Finn and Jake return to Farmworld, last seen the fifth season two-part premiere, “Finn the Human”/”Jake the Dog”. Frankly, I was under the assumption that the episode would be the oft-predicted “Fionna and Cake meet Finn and Jake” episode, but I’m happy to be proven wrong (I’m not a fan of such fanservicey nonsense as Finn meeting his fan-fiction counterpart). In a nutshell, the above is a simplified version of what the Internet looked like prior to and immediately preceding the airing of “Crossover”. I bet it’s going to be a Regular Show/ Adventure Time special!” “What is the show going to crossover with?”
